One to One Therapies

I combine several therapies when working with individual clients, therapies tailored to work directly on the mind and body, producing psychological change which can be used for emotional and physical healing - emotional relief can be almost immediate.

These therapies bypass the process of talking extensively about past traumas, week after week, making use instead of the way our brains actually process specific thoughts and feelings.

By addressing the cause of the problem i.e. the ineffective patterns of thought and unwanted feelings, we can balance disturbances in the body's energy field which are producing the symptoms being experienced.

By combining Energy Psychology techniques such as Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnosis, I’ve been able to advance these healing arts to a new level, producing reliable and remarkable results.

Energy Psychologists can produce quick and lasting results. Fears and phobias can usually be dealt with in one or two sessions. With anxiety states, panic attacks, stress, depression and post-traumatic stress, it is difficult to be precise about how many sessions are needed. I will assess this after your first session with me but you should see significant change by the second session - which in many cases, may be all you'll need.

There has been research in the United States over the past few years concerning the use of EFT and EMDT in helping Vietnam Vets to overcome years of post-traumatic stress from their Service time. It has proved a fast and effective way to change lives and I’ve proved this myself in work I’ve done with service personnel affected by time in Iraq and Afghanistan.
